Yes. The Cavalier is Blake-stitched with a leather sole, so a cobbler can resole it when the time comes — built to be repaired and worn for years, not thrown away.

Full-grain leather — the top layer of the hide and the highest grade. It’s more durable than corrected or “genuine” leather and develops a rich personal patina as you wear it.

Brush off dust after wear, apply a matching cream now and then to nourish the leather, and use cedar shoe trees to hold their shape. Avoid prolonged wet exposure — if caught in rain, stuff with paper and let them air-dry naturally.
